Safety is a top priority at Houston Tents & Events. All of our employees are required to go through formal training processes. In addition, safety protocols have been established for each type of work that we do. Whether it be tent erection, elevated height work, washing and repair operations, inventory control, etc. Each major operation in our process has a safety protocol associated with it. Employees have a direct line to top management and are encouraged to report any potential safety hazards or potential issues. In this way everyone is part of the safety mentality.
Training & Employee Development
Our people are highly trained and ongoing training and development is a part of our employee development process. We feel that if an employee is willing to commit to us, we must commit to the employee. An investment in an employee is an investment in our future. As our employees are able to gain more experience and knowledge, they are able to contribute more to the company and in return increase their earnings.
This employee engagement pays off in a happier and more engaged workforce as well as in better service to our customers. It is not uncommon for employees to have long tenures here. And several employees that went to competitors have ended up coming back to work for us because of the way they are valued.
We have a dedicated human resource department that tracks employee engagement. In addition to meeting local, state, and federal mandates, our HR team goes above and beyond to make sure our employees remain a top priority.
