Guest Count – Event Type – Rentals Needed
Tent Calculator Guide
For your convenience, we’ve put together a chart and general guidelines to get you started with your event planning. Tent size also depends on the tent type but not to worry, we’ve provided that information for you as well. The first step is to count the number of people that will be attending your event. Then the event type is the greatest differentiator on tent space. For example, cocktail parties and standing tables you’ll need to calculate 3 sqft per person, a buffet or reception is about 8 sqft per person, and a seated dinner can be up to 12 sqft per person.
What size tent do I need for 50 guests?
If the guest seating chart is without tables or standing around cocktail tables, you will need a 10×30 tent. If the guests will be seated, we recommend a 20 x 30 tent. If you have other things that need to go inside the tent, such as a bar, buffet line, or stage, you will need a bigger tent.
What size tent do I need for 100 guests?
