Houston Tents & Events has been named No. 71 on the 2026 Inc. Regionals: Southwest list, one of the most prestigious rankings of the fastest-growing privately held companies in the Southwest. The list covers Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas, and is an extension of the national Inc. 5000.
This marks another milestone in a run of recognition that includes back-to-back Inc. 5000 rankings in 2024 and 2025. It also includes a Houston Business Journal Fast 50 placement, and the HBJ cover feature that named Darren Randle “The Tent Titan” in late 2025.
What the Ranking Means
Companies on the 2026 Inc. Regionals: Southwest list were ranked based on percentage revenue growth over two years, from 2022 through 2024. The 132 companies on this year’s list had a median growth rate of 79 percent. Together they added 9,633 jobs and $5.2 billion to the regional economy during that period.
For Houston Tents & Events, the ranking reflects growth that was anything but accidental. Founded in January 2020, ten weeks before a global pandemic halted the events industry, the company navigated its earliest months by pivoting quickly. Consequently, it solved urgent problems for clients who needed infrastructure fast. That same responsiveness has defined every year since.

Led by Founder and COO Darren Randle and CEO Kori Randle, Houston Tents & Events has grown from a startup into one of the most recognized event infrastructure companies in Texas. The team now includes more than 70 dedicated professionals. Moreover, it serves a client roster that includes professional sports organizations, hospital systems, municipalities, and private clients throughout Southeast Texas.
The company’s reach extends well beyond Houston proper, with active projects across The Woodlands, Sugar Land, Galveston, and throughout the greater region. Recent milestones include a multi-year partnership with the Houston Texans as the exclusive event infrastructure provider at NRG Park. In addition, the company completed the acquisition of A Finer Event and 3-Phase Rentals, and it achieved back-to-back placements on the national Inc. 5000.
