HOUSTON, TEXAS, July 27, 2026 – Houston Tents & Events today announced the acquisition of Jaacked Event Rentals, marking a significant step in the company’s continued growth and expansion across Texas.
As part of the acquisition, Jaacked Event Rentals owners Jomar Alcala and Priscilla De Luna Alcala will join Houston Tents & Events and help lead the newly established Houston Tents & Events – West Texas Division, bringing years of industry experience, strong customer relationships, and deep ties throughout the West Texas market.
The acquisition strengthens Houston Tents & Events’ ability to serve clients throughout Texas while establishing a dedicated presence in West Texas. Existing Jaacked Event Rentals customers will continue working with familiar industry professionals while gaining access to Houston Tents & Events’ extensive inventory, temporary structures, event power solutions, and full-service event rental capabilities.

Alcala’s passion for the event industry began at a young age while helping at a family-owned event center. After gaining additional experience working for an inflatable rental company, he developed a particular passion for tents and the role they play in transforming event spaces, ultimately leading to the creation of Jaacked Event Rentals in 2019.
